Smart Share & ECOSLO team up to share sustainable housing options and offer tours of Smart Share’s 176 square foot Demo Cottage at the future site of the Waterman Village. You’ll learn about accessory dwelling units, tiny houses on wheels, co-living and homesharing, and how they help meet sustainable housing goals. Tiny House Tours and Mocktails

In celebration of Bike Month, ride on over to the Demo Cottage at 466 Dana St. and get a FREE tour of the adorable tiny home on wheels. Envision the possibilities for your home or living space and learn about Waterman Village–a development of 20 tiny homes on permanent foundations surrounding the historic adobe. FREE and open to the public. No RSVP required.​
Opportunities for ADUs and THOWs in Backyards

Are you thinking about putting an ADU in your yard? Not sure if it’s right for you? Smart Share is a neutral non profit with staff experts in the ADU realm that can share ideas and legal options without any sales pitch. What is the difference between an ADU and a tiny home on wheels (THOW)? Come find out what the regulations are for ADUs and THOWs in the City of San Luis Obispo and whether one of these options may be right for you at a FREE workshop. These can be great solutions to add more affordable housing, generate equity, house family members, age in place and build wealth. Workshops will be at the SLO Library Community Room.
