There's no place like a welcoming home, especially during the holidays.It's because of people like you that we can fulfill our mission to Connect People & Housing. Whether we're moving forward with the design of Waterman Village or empowering individuals with the knowledge to pursue home sharing or build Accessory Dwelling Units in their own backyards, your support is at the heart of everything we do.

We're excited to share that Waterman Village is one step closer to becoming a reality. The building permit application has now been submitted, bringing us closer to construction. Once complete, the historic adobe, Mary Gail Black Neighborhood Park, and 20 safe, accessible homes for seniors will offer a renewed sense of community in the heart of downtown. We expect to receive permits in the coming months, allowing construction to begin in 2026!

Thanks to the tireless work of our volunteers, professionals, and donors, we've already raised 25% of the estimated project cost and have successfully completed the design, entitlement, and permitting phases.
