Started in this field of Geotechnical Engineering and construction materials testing in the spring of 1996, with my Civil degree and EIT in hand. Worked as a technician in materials laboratory and transitioned to field testing and special inspection for projects throughout SLO county. Obtained special inspection certifications in reinforced concrete, structural masonry and prestressed concrete while also preparing for the California PE license. Obtained PE in 2001 and continued to work as a field inspector as well as project Engineer. Maintained all special inspection certifications and responsible for the training and certification of new team members. Achieved position of President of GeoSolutions in 2020, after 23 years of dedicated effort.
